Tube Talk Toastmasters In-Person Meeting:

A typical Toastmasters meeting is divided into 3 parts:

  1. Prepared Speeches: usually 7 minutes each in length, for club members only. Speaking assignments are based on the Toastmasters Pathways online educational programme.
  2. Evaluations of the Speeches: how did the speakers do well and how can they progress further? Each speech is evaluated individually, 2-3 minutes per evaluation.
  3. Table Topics: Impromptu speaking on a given topic, 1-2 minutes per volunteer participant, guests welcome. This is your opportunity if you are visiting us, but there is no obligation to take part.
